Thanks to my niece for checking on the IMBD website for updates, 'The Rainbow Tribe' release date has been changed to January 2009. It still is unknown whether it will be released on DVD, on television, or in the theater. And still to be released in the USA... although I hope it will be available in other countries, as DJE has fans around the world!
Talk about disappointment... from the photos it looked like it would be a fun family movie. It would be wonderful to see DJE on the big screen. Hopefully someday!

Hi James,
If I'm right, I think this movie was filmed to be a three part set.
If so, I think it does have a shot to be in theaters. But maybe not for the first movie.
High School Musical started out on Disney channel and didn't get much attention, but the second movie, it was all the talk, now the third is making it the theaters.
The Rainbow Tribe is such a great movie, with so much to give the audience, I think it would do well. But it might need to start slowly and build momentum.
Anyway, just my thoughts.
Good luck to you on your career and in life,
Jill
Hi Jill,
Thank you for your thoughts on 'The Rainbow Tribe'. This is the first I'd heard about it being a three part set. I agree that it seems to be a great movie. I'm looking forward to seeing it.
Thanks again.
